Q: I am having trouble saving tickets.  I don't seem to have a valid desk or valid account.   What should I do?

A: There are a number of  items you need to set up before users have full access to afs:Trade:

  • Users must belong to a desk (e.g. Money Market, Domestic Equity, etc.) in order to trade.  Make sure you have set up at least one desk on afs:Trade. Then, on the transactor form, make sure to assign at least one desk to every user.
  • Users must be a valid transactor for an account in order to trade for that account.   Make sure you have set up at least one account on afs:Trade. Then, on the Account Form, make sure to assign users to the accounts that they can trade.
